adSportsFocus is an online advertising network. Ad networks aggregate publishers and advertisers using an interactive marketplace. In other words, adSportsFocus is a group of hand-qualified websites that are available for advertising.
What does CPM, CPC & CTR stand for?
CPM stands for cost-per-thousand-impressions (The "M" comes from the Roman numeral for 1,000). e.g. $5 CPM represents $5 per 1,000 displays of a banner.
CPC stands for Cost-Per-Click. You pay an agreed amount for each click-through to your site.
CTR stands for Click-Through Rate - This is the number of people who click on an ad divided by the number of displays of the ad, represented in percentages. e.g. 50 people click on an ad that has been shown 1000 times, which works out at: 50/1000 X 100% = 5%.
How do I get reports for my ad campaign?
Advertisers are able log in into the user interface and view statistics about how their banners are performing. Apart from a simple overview, they can view monthly, weekly, daily and hourly statistics. Advertisers can also export reports in CSV format for use in Microsoft Excel.
Targeting and capping
Thanks to an advanced targeting system adSportsFocus can deliver different banners based on many different parameters, such as IP address, domain, weekday, hour of the day, language, browser or operating system. It is even possible to combine these parameters and use logical operators to create very specific situations in which banners are delivered. In addition to this it is also possible to limit the delivery of banners based on how often a banner is already shown to a specific visitor and how long since the visitor last saw the banner.
How long does it take to place an ad?
Once an advertiser has set up an adSportsFocus account and prepaid his/her advertising fees, we will setup the campaign and notify you when this is done. This usually takes 1-2 working days.
How does the payment work?
All advertising fees must be prepaid. The minimum prepayment is $100.00. We accept secured online payment via the PayPal service. You can pay via a credit card, debit card, or electronic check when using PayPal. If you do not yet have an account with PayPal, its free to sign up.
